Shawn clarifies the word ‘temptation’ and through this, we have a better view, together with other related scriptures of the 5 instructions of how they then, (and we now) could be protected and/or delivered from the tempter. Also Shawn discusses intervention and possible ways when it does not happen, though God is ALWAYS there to help, He may not do it in the way you thought! God sent His only begotten to get directly involved in this flesh and blood world to know of Him but also in the redemption and protection of man. Shawn expounds on these facts.
Shawn then investigates the next verses to show insights using the Greek language to understand words like, ‘governments’, presumptuous, dignities etc., and the realization of what this entails for us regarding our faith.
2 Peter 2:9-11
then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment, and especially those who indulge in the lust of defiling passion and despise authority.
Bold and willful, they do not tremble as they blaspheme the glorious ones, whereas angels, though greater in might and power, do not pronounce a blasphemous judgment against them before the Lord.
